These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Oneshot Software Systems LLC ("Oneshot," "OneShotCV," "we," "our," or "us"), governing your access to and use of the OneShotCV website at oneshotcv.com and our services (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
OneShotCV uses artificial intelligence to help you create tailored resumes, cover letters, and outreach emails and to provide ATS-compatibility scores based on the information you provide. AI output is a starting point, not a finished product. It may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies, and you are responsible for carefully reviewing, editing, and verifying everything before you use it in a job application.
We do not guarantee any particular outcome. We do not promise that using the Services will result in interviews, job offers, or employment, that your documents will pass any particular applicant tracking system (ATS) or screening, or that any statistics or scores we present reflect your individual results. Hiring decisions and ATS behavior are controlled by employers and third parties outside our control.
You are responsible for:
OneShotCV offers a free plan and paid subscription plans with different limits on job profiles and AI generations. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis at the price shown at checkout and renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period; cancellation stops future charges, and amounts already paid are non-refundable except as required by law. We may change our plans or fees on reasonable notice, effective at your next renewal. You are responsible for applicable taxes other than taxes on our income. Generation limits and features reset or apply according to your plan.
You own the information and documents you provide and create using the Services. You grant us a limited license to host, process, store, and use your content to provide the Services to you (including generating and exporting your documents) and as described in our Privacy Policy. We may use feedback you provide without restriction.
You agree not to: provide false or misleading information or misrepresent your identity or qualifications; use the Services for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose; use the Services to generate content for others as a business without our written agreement; attempt to gain unauthorized access to or interfere with the Services; scrape or bulk-extract the Services; reverse engineer the Services except as permitted by law; or use the Services to build a competing product or to train models that compete with the Services.
The Services, including our software, models, templates, and content, are owned by Oneshot and its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services and to use the documents you create for your own personal job-search purposes.
Except as expressly stated, the Services and all generated content are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and any warranty that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Services do not provide career, legal, or professional advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the liability or one hundred dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
You agree to defend and indemnify Oneshot and its affiliates from third-party claims arising out of the information and content you provide or submit, your representations to employers, or your use of the Services in violation of these Terms or law.
You may stop using the Services and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or other reasonable cause. On termination, your right to use the Services ends; you may export your content while your account is active and, subject to our Privacy Policy, for a reasonable period afterward. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Flathead County, Montana have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to the Services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Services or by other reasonable means and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
